The Playhouse Pre-School

Welcome to The Playhouse Pre-school

The Playhouse Pre-school aims to:

  1. provide high quality care and education for children primarily below statutory school age;
  2. work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop;
  3. add to the life and well-being of its local community; and
  4. offer children and their parents a service which promotes equality and values diversity.

As a member of the pre-school, your child:

  1. is in a safe and stimulating environment;
  2. is given generous care and attention, because of the high ratio of adults to children;
  3. has the chance to join with other children and adults to live, play, work and learn together;
  4.  is helped to take forward her/his learning and development by being helped to build on what she/he already knows and can do;
  5. has a personal key person who makes sure your child makes satisfying progress;
  6. is in a pre-school which sees you as a partner in helping your child to learn and develop; and
  7. is in a pre-school in which parents help to shape the service it offers

 What you Like?                                                                                                                                                      I like the way the staff interact with all the children, encourage sharing and healthy eating, lots of activities for the children to take part in. The staff are always helpful and friendly and will always take time to inform you of any changes or just how your Childs day has been. They listen to any imput of the parents and they listen to the children , the staff are very competent in the job that they do and it shows as every child that goes there comes out happy .parents are invited to meeting that the preschool has so they can have their imput.

What you didn’t Like?                                                                                                                                     liked everything!
